About me: I'm 47
years old and I'm born in Tromso,
in the northern part of Norway, and I grew up in
Lyngen,
a little north of Tromso. I
have lived in
Oslo
for about 20 years, but in 2012 I move to
Volda.
I
had
wanted to
become a radio amateur
for many years
before I took the
license in 2007.
In recent years
I have lived
in an apartment
in downtown Oslo,
and that has
been a
challenge. The last
year I have not
had the opportunity to set
up HF
antennas. In
February 2012
we move
to Volda where
we have bought
a
house.
There are
the
possibilities of
antennas much
better. Looking
forward to it.
I am QRV
on most HF
bands SSB
and digital
modes,
I am also QRV
on APRS
from the home
QTH and from
my car.
My radio equipment:
HF rig
is Icom
756 Pro
III in my
shack and
Icom 706MKIIG
for portable
use. In
my car I use
the Kenwood
D-710,
Antennas:
Now I use a
Fritzel FD4
Windom antenna
and various
wire antennas.
Have a
Fritzel GPA-30
vertical on the
roof.
Take a
